Here are a few of the animals we've taken in and rescued. Our little farm has become their forever home and we have committed to caring for them and giving them all the love and kindness they deserve.
We are so happy to have each and every one of them!
Not all of the animals on our farm are rescues. In fact, we had started our small dairy goat herd and chicken flock before most of these babies came to our farm and I'm grateful for that because raising our own goats and chickens over the years has given us the knowledge and experience to care for the new ones.
We appreciate any donations to help us purchase things for them such as feed, hay, medical, fencing, and building supplies.
This herd of 8 Nigerian Dwarfs' owner had passed away and they were given to us recently. They are starting to get used to us and we're currently working on getting them back into tip top shape.
Little red was dropped off to us by a 4H family who couldn't keep her anymore. She's turned out to be such a friendly girl!
Kitty has been with us for years. He is 12 years old now and the happiest and sweetest cat I've ever met. When we used to have visitors come to the farm, we are always afraid he was going to jump into their cars and go home with them because he was so incredibly friendly.
Jasper was brought to us while we are at a veterinarian appointment for another one of our cats. He was found in a church parking lot and let's be serious, how could we say "no" to this face?
Miley wasn't a rescue per se because she did have an owner and a home, however that person did not treat her well and it took us some time to gain her trust. Now she is one of the friendliest goats on our farm!
Mercury was one of the "wildest" cats we ever came across. He was incredibly fearful of any and all humans and hid for the first week or so, only coming out to grab a quick bite. Now he falls asleep trustingly on our laps and loves to play with the other cats.
Cheese has quite a personality and would rather be napping than playing most of time time, but he does love to go outside and climb some trees!
Princess Jasmine Purrington did not, and still does not like other cats very much. She does get along fine with Kitty though. However, she is the sweetest and most loving little girl to us humans. She loves to be pet and enjoys sleeping in cozy hiding spots away from the other cats.
